Welcome to Al-Bayaan Madrasah – Where Young Hearts Learn, Grow, and Shine
Al-Bayaan Madrasah is delighted to welcome families to our nurturing learning environment in Angel, Islington, where children are guided to develop a love for the Qur’an, Islam, and beautiful character.
Weekend Madrasah
Our Saturday and Sunday classes run from 10:00am to 1:00pm, providing a calm, structured, and inspiring space for children to learn and flourish.
Weekday Madrasah
In addition, we also offer a weekday madrasah from Monday to Wednesday, 5:00pm to 7:00pm, ideal for families seeking consistent Qur’anic learning during the week.
What We Teach
At the heart of Al-Bayaan Madrasah is a strong focus on:
-
Learning to read the Arabic language
-
Confident Qur’an recitation and memorisation
-
Building a deep love and connection with Allah
We believe learning the Qur’an is more than pronunciation and fluency — it is about nurturing hearts, strengthening faith, and allowing the Qur’an to shape a child’s character and conduct.
Alongside Qur’an studies, our Islamic Studies programme is engaging, age-appropriate, and meaningful. Students learn about:
-
Core Islamic beliefs
-
Good manners and character (Akhlaq)
-
The life and teachings of the Prophet ï·º
-
How to live as confident, kind, and practising Muslims in today’s world

We welcome boys and girls aged 5 to 15 years. Whether your child is taking their very first steps in Arabic or is already progressing well, our experienced and caring teachers support every child at their own pace.

Knowledge
"Acquire knowledge, because doing so is an act of worship. Knowledge is a friend during solitude, and a guide during happiness and grief." — Mu'adh ibn Jabal (May Allah be pleased with him)
